Gota, Lda started in 2010 in response to growing demand for Portuguese wines.

Portugal is writing a new chapter in its wine history, marrying rich tradition with modern thinking to produce fresh, flavoursome wines from its vast array of distinctive, characterful grape varieties.

Two associates, both with a professional background in the wine trade, one as a winemaker and the other as a supermarket wine buyer, combined their passion and knowledge to bring to the consumer the best that Portugal has to offer.

The goal was to create and promote wines from the top winemaking regions in Portugal and make them available across the globe.

Gota means “drop”. We are small drop of wine…for now.

Their mission is to deliver the best of Portugal inside of the bottle for customers across the world
